Wireless digital facing heads
In order to fill market gaps, UF has developed its range of digital facing heads to meet important recurring needs for radial machining and grooving tasks.
With no external mechanical linkage that can cause injury and breakage of equipment, UF facing heads are highly efficient and safe.
Two series of facing heads are available: Standard and Modular Telescopic. Both are controlled by a UF basic remote control and/or by the Ultra series wireless touch remote control. They can also be used with other brands of line boring machines on the market.
Powered by rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, the high-torque servo-motor driven digital facing head and the wireless remote control allows for a minimum of 6 hours of continuous use.
This technology allows you to manage your feed speed, the tool’s direction of movement and to program feeds with a return to home position, using the limit switch, allowing you to achieve efficiently and accurately your goals while protecting the operator and the mechanism.
